New Leadership at AI Express

In a significant move within the Air India Group, Campbell Wilson, the MD & CEO of Air India, has relinquished his position as the chairman of AI Express. This change marks a pivotal moment for the budget airline as it seeks to streamline its operations and leadership structure.

New Appointments

Nipun Aggarwal, currently serving on the board of AI Express and as Air India's chief commercial officer, will take over the chairman role. Meanwhile, Captain Basil Kwauk, Air India's chief operating officer, is set to replace Wilson on the AI Express board, ensuring operational synergy between the two airlines.

Wilson's Continued Role

Despite stepping down from his position at AI Express, Wilson will continue to serve as the MD & CEO of Air India, expressing his unwavering support for the new leadership and his commitment to the overall performance of the Air India Group.
