Japan's Hitachi Energy, Ltd. is set to transform Virginia's energy infrastructure with a substantial $22.5 million investment. This initiative will not only modernize the existing Bland County facility but also introduce a new warehouse in Atkins, promising to create 120 new jobs and significantly boost the local economy.

Enhancing Manufacturing and Assembly Capabilities

With $12.5 million dedicated to the Bland facility, the project aims to enhance manufacturing capacity and assembly capabilities, creating 80 new jobs. The acquisition of a 75,000-square-foot facility in Smyth County further underscores Hitachi Energy's commitment to expanding its operational footprint in Virginia.
