In a remarkable week for the Indian stock market, six out of the top-10 most valued companies saw their combined market valuation soar by Rs 1,18,626.24 crore. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led the charge with the highest jump in market capitalisation.

TCS registered an impressive increase of Rs 53,692.42 crore, reaching a total valuation of Rs 12,47,281.40 crore. Reliance Industries and Infosys followed closely, adding Rs 34,507.55 crore and Rs 24,919.58 crore to their market caps, respectively.

Notable Declines

On the flip side, Bharti Airtel experienced the most significant drop, with its valuation decreasing by Rs 41,967.5 crore. Other companies like Hindustan Unilever and Bajaj Finance also saw slight reductions in their market capitalisation.

Reliance Industries continues to hold the title of the most valued company, followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, and others, maintaining the dynamic and competitive nature of India's corporate landscape.
