Residential Real Estate Booms Across India's Major Cities
In an unprecedented surge, the 2024-25 financial year witnessed the delivery of 406,889 residential units across nine major Indian cities, marking a 33% increase from the previous year. This remarkable growth highlights the robust demand and confidence in India's real estate sector.

Pune Leads the Charge
Pune emerged as the frontrunner with 81,563 units delivered, showcasing a 41% year-on-year growth. Following closely were Thane, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, with Delhi-NCR being the only region to experience a decline, with an 8% drop in deliveries.
Regulatory Reforms Fuel Growth
The significant improvement in delivery timelines has been attributed to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), ensuring stronger cash flows and faster project executions. Industry leaders remain optimistic about the continued growth of the sector.
