During a recent visit to Beijing, Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang personally informed key Chinese customers, including Alibaba Group, Tencent Holdings, and ByteDance, about the company's plans to redesign its AI chips. This move comes after the US government expanded its list of chips requiring approval for sale to China, including Nvidia's H20, the most powerful chip previously available for export.
