In a bold move, TikTok has announced its decision to appeal the €530 million fine levied by Ireland's privacy regulator, representing the EU. The company firmly denies any wrongdoing, stating that Chinese authorities have never requested data from European users. "We have never provided European user data to them," emphasized Christine Grahn from TikTok Europe, underscoring the company's commitment to user privacy.
