DoorDash and Deliveroo Join Forces in a Landmark Deal

In a groundbreaking announcement, DoorDash Inc. has agreed to acquire Deliveroo Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at £2.9 billion, equivalent to 180 pence per share. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in the global food delivery industry.

Recommendation from Deliveroo

Deliveroo has formed an Independent Committee to evaluate DoorDash's offer. With advice from Goldman Sachs, the committee deemed the proposal "fair and reasonable" and intends to recommend that shareholders approve the deal.
