By 9:02 am CET, the CAC 40 saw a modest increase of 0.17%, with TotalEnergies SE leading the charge by climbing 1.19%. The FTSE 100 outperformed with a 1.17% rise, thanks to Bunzl PLC's impressive 2.86% gain. Similarly, the Euro Stoxx 50 edged up by 0.18%, and BAY.MOTOREN WERKE AG marked a notable 1.39% increase. Germany's DAX also enjoyed a 0.15% uplift by 9:03 am CET, with Continental AG emerging as the top performer by soaring 3.45%.

Currency Movements

On the currency front, the euro remained steady against the dollar, trading at 1.13262 at 8:57 am CET. The pound also held its ground against the American currency, quoted at 1.32984 at the same time.
