This acquisition is set to close in the latter half of 2025, marking a significant milestone in DoorDash's growth strategy.

"Our goal is to empower merchants by providing them with the tools to serve their customers across all channels," explained Parisa Sadrzadeh, DoorDash's Vice President for Strategy and Operations. "The addition of SevenRooms to our platform will enable local businesses worldwide to attract more guests, foster direct customer relationships, leverage top-tier CRM solutions, and enhance profitability through intelligent marketing strategies," she added.

Financial Highlights and Future Prospects

This announcement comes alongside DoorDash's financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2025, showcasing a 21% revenue increase to $3 billion. Additionally, DoorDash has previously disclosed its agreement to acquire Deliveroo, a British food delivery giant, for £2.9 billion, further solidifying its position in the global food delivery market.
