Parisa Sadrzadeh, DoorDash's Vice President for Strategy and Operations, emphasized the company's commitment to empowering local businesses. This announcement comes alongside DoorDash's first-quarter fiscal 2025 financial results, showcasing a 21% revenue jump to $3 billion. Notably, this follows DoorDash's recent agreement to acquire Deliveroo, a British food delivery giant, for £2.9 billion, underscoring DoorDash's aggressive growth and diversification in the global food delivery and restaurant technology sectors.
