Tesla's April Sales in China See a Decline
According to preliminary data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tesla, Inc. experienced a 6% decrease in sales within China this April, selling 58,459 vehicles. This downturn includes the locally assembled Model 3 and Model Y, which saw a significant drop of over 25% from March.

BYD Outperforms Tesla with a Notable Increase
In contrast, BYD, Tesla's main competitor in the Chinese market, reported a nearly 20% year-on-year increase in sales. The company delivered an impressive 372,615 units, encompassing both pure electric and hybrid models.
