"We were never interested in doing a search engine because we were very happy partnering with someone. Amidst discussions on partnerships, Cue also unveiled Apple's active exploration into integrating artificial intelligence (AI) search functionalities within the Safari web browser. The company is considering collaborations with leading AI firms, including Anthropic PBC, OpenAI Inc., Perplexity AI, Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd., and Grok, to enhance user experience.
