"We were never interested in doing a search engine because we were very happy partnering with someone. We can't do everything, so we have to choose the things that we do," Cue stated, emphasizing Google's superiority in the search engine domain.

Amid the ongoing AI revolution, Apple is actively considering integrating AI search functionalities into its Safari web browser. Cue mentioned exploring partnerships with leading AI firms, including Anthropic PBC, OpenAI Inc., Perplexity AI, Hangzhou DeepSeek Artificial Intelligence Basic Technology Research Co., Ltd., and Grok, to enhance Safari's capabilities.
