HDFC Bank has announced a scheduled maintenance on May 9 and 10, 2025, which will temporarily disrupt several of its key services. This includes UPI transactions, net banking, debit/credit card usage, and loan and demat services. The bank assures that these updates are part of routine infrastructure upgrades, timed during early morning hours to minimize inconvenience.

Detailed Downtime Schedule

On May 9, card-based services will face limited access. Specifically, debit card transactions will be unavailable between 12:30 AM and 2:30 AM IST, affecting both online and offline usage. E-commerce transactions using HDFC Bank cards will also be impacted from 12:30 AM to 2:00 AM IST.

Credit card services and statement features will be down between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM IST, preventing transactions and statement access.

Comprehensive Maintenance on May 10

From 2:30 AM to 5:30 AM IST, net banking and mobile app services will be inaccessible, including UPI, IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS payments. Merchant payments and instant account opening will also be temporarily suspended.

Loan and demat services will experience disruptions from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM IST, with credit card services facing another downtime between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM IST.

UPI Services Upgrade

A significant 4-hour downtime for UPI services is scheduled from 2:30 AM to 6:30 AM IST on May 10, affecting all UPI-linked services and merchant transactions routed via HDFC Bank.
