Ajoy Chawla Named Titan's Managing Director

BENGALURU: Ajoy Chawla is set to take the helm as Titan's new managing director starting January 1 next year, succeeding CK Venkataraman, whose term concludes on December 31 this year in line with Tata Group's retirement policies.

Since his appointment as CEO of Titan's jewellery division in 2019, Chawla has propelled the division to new heights, doubling sales and profits, and solidifying its market dominance.

Financial Performance

Titan reported a 22% revenue increase to Rs 57,818 crore for 2024-25, though net profit saw a 2% dip to Rs 4,535 crore, attributed to reduced gold custom duties.
