A viral WhatsApp message claims ATMs will be closed for 2–3 days. This message is FAKE. ATMs will continue to operate as usual. The State Bank of India (SBI) has also stepped forward to reassure the public that its ATMs and digital services remain "fully operational and available for public use." Viral Message Warns of Cyber Attacks

A viral message had falsely claimed that ATMs would be closed for the "next 2-3 days probably" due to a "ransomware cyber-attack among war of Pakistan." It also warned against online transactions and opening a video called the 'Dance of the Hillary', alleging it to be a virus that formats mobile devices. The message further inaccurately stated that 74 countries were affected by this "massive ransomware attack."
