India Reopens Airports Following Ceasefire
NEW DELHI: In a significant development, all 32 airports in north, west, and central India, which were closed since May 7, have reopened this morning. This decision comes in the wake of the recent ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, as confirmed by a senior Airports Authority of India (AAI) official.

Chandigarh Airport Leads the Way
Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh was among the first to resume operations, announcing the resumption of flight services at 10:30 am on May 12, 2025. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for the latest schedules.
Airlines Adjust to New Normal
IndiGo, one of India's leading airlines, has announced plans to operate additional flights to accommodate stranded passengers. The airline also mentioned that while operations are gradually returning to normal, passengers should expect some delays and last-minute changes.
