Stellantis NV Announces Fiat 500 Hybrid Production Start

On Monday, Stellantis NV revealed plans to commence production of the Fiat 500 Hybrid this November at the Mirafiori plant in Turin, Italy.

Pre-Production Units Assembled

The automotive giant also shared that it has already assembled the first "pre-production units" of the new Fiat 500 Hybrid at the same facility. With full capacity, the company aims to produce over 100,000 units of the hybrid model annually.

Strengthening Italian Roots

"With the 500 Hybrid, we are reinforcing production at Mirafiori to ensure the plant's productivity and meet demand. Our roots are deeply planted in Italy, and it's no coincidence that the two most iconic FIAT models are manufactured here: the Panda in Pomigliano and the 500 in Mirafiori," stated Fiat CEO Olivier Francois.
