Bharti Airtel's Remarkable Q4 Performance
Bharti Airtel has reported an astonishing nearly five-fold increase in its consolidated net profit for the January–March 2025 quarter, reaching Rs 11,022 crore, up from Rs 2,071.6 crore in the same period the previous year. This surge is attributed to strategic tariff hikes and a significant one-time tax gain.

Driving Forces Behind the Growth
The telecom giant benefited from favorable tax-related orders, contributing a one-time tax benefit of approximately Rs 5,913 crore. Additionally, total revenue from operations saw a 27% year-on-year increase to Rs 47,876.2 crore in Q4 FY25.
India's Standalone Revenue and ARPU Growth
Bharti Airtel's India standalone revenue climbed 15% year-on-year to Rs 36,735 crore, with the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) increasing by nearly 17% to Rs 245. The company's focus on premiumisation and quality customer acquisition has been pivotal in this growth.
Expanding Network and Future Investments
With a consolidated capital expenditure of Rs 14,401 crore for the quarter, Bharti Airtel is aggressively expanding its network footprint, adding thousands of towers and mobile broadband stations to enhance customer experience nationwide.
