Performance of Key Indices

In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite fell by 0.67%, while the Shenzhen Composite saw a sharper decline of 1.33%. Similarly, Hong Kong's Hang Seng dropped by 0.65%, and South Korea's Kospi Composite tumbled 0.77%.

Contrastingly, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 managed a slight gain of 0.17%, whereas Japan's Nikkei 225 slid by 0.96%. The dollar also weakened against the yen, trading 0.43% lower.
