Infosys Staff Receives Reduced Bonus Payouts
Infosys has recently distributed performance bonus letters to its eligible staff for the January-March quarter, with a significant portion of the workforce noting a reduction in payout compared to previous quarters.

Key Details: The majority of eligible staff received 50% of their quarterly target amount, while some were awarded 70%, and select outstanding performers received higher amounts. The bonus was disbursed with May's salary, but the customary management message discussing business outlook was notably absent this time.
Behind the Numbers
Infosys reported an 11.7% year-on-year reduction in net profit to Rs 7,033 crore last month, with a revenue forecast for 2025-26 indicating low single-digit growth. The software services sector's current challenges, including tariff uncertainties and conservative client spending, have contributed to the reduced bonus payments.
Employee Reactions and Future Prospects
A long-serving employee shared that this is the lowest bonus he has received in his decade-long tenure at Infosys. However, senior leadership has reassured staff that this situation is temporary, promising enhanced bonus recommendations for high-performing staff once business growth recovers.
