Kerala Shines at 'Ente Keralam' Exhibition: A Celebration of Progress and Culture in Kollam

The 'Ente Keralam' exhibition and marketing fair, a highlight of the state government's fourth anniversary celebrations, was inaugurated in Kollam at the Ashram grounds. Minister KN Balagopal marked the commencement of this vibrant event, which ran until the 20th of the month, showcasing Kerala's achievements and cultural heritage.

Government's Commitment to Development

During the inauguration, Minister Balagopal shared updates on significant projects, including the SN Open University headquarters and Kerala's ambitious goal to eradicate extreme poverty by November 1st. The event also featured speeches from notable figures, emphasizing the government's dedication to public welfare and development.

A Festival of Culture and Commerce

The fair boasted 156 themed stalls highlighting government initiatives and 96 stalls offering products from various departments. Attendees enjoyed free services, cultural performances, and a food court by Kudumbashree, making it a comprehensive showcase of Kerala's progress and traditions.

Towards a Sustainable Future

Kerala's efforts in housing, poverty eradication, and environmental sustainability were highlighted, with the LIFE Mission nearing completion and the Waste-Free Kerala campaign gaining momentum. The chief minister's review meeting in Thiruvananthapuram further underscored the state's achievements and future plans.
