The dollar index, a measure against six major currencies, saw a minor increase to 96.677, remaining close to its overnight low of 96.373.
Against the Swiss franc, the dollar remained stable at 0.7906, after a previous session low of 0.7873. The euro held steady at $1.1802, near its peak of $1.1829, while sterling saw a slight increase to $1.37435, approaching its October 2021 high of $1.3787.
