Travel Season Boosts Transactions

The company noted a 13% rise in the number of overseas credit card transactions, attributing this growth to increased travel during the summer vacation season. Sectors like airlines, accommodations, and transportation saw notable increases.

Popular Travel-Friendly Products

Cards offering travel-specific benefits, such as the Korean Air Card, Hyundai Amex Card, and NOL Card, were particularly popular. These benefits include airport lounge access, airline mileage, and hotel point accumulation.

Enhanced Services for Travelers

Hyundai Card's introduction of the Travel Desk, an overseas travel concierge service, and support for mobile payment services like Apple Pay and Line Pay, have significantly improved the convenience of overseas travel for users.

A Hyundai Card official commented, "The use of Hyundai Card, which provides benefits tailored to users’ lifestyles, is significantly increasing. Apple Pay, with its differentiated overseas services, is especially convenient abroad."
