Vietnam Slashes Fuel Prices Significantly Following VAT Reduction, Offering Relief to Consumers

Significant Drop in Fuel Prices Announced

In a move that brings relief to consumers, Vietnam has announced a significant reduction in fuel prices. The maximum retail price of biofuel E5 RON92 has been set at VND20,530 (US$0.79 USD) per liter, marking a 1.82% decrease from the previous pricing.

Across-the-Board Price Adjustments

The price adjustments are not limited to biofuel E5 RON92. The popular fuel RON95 has also seen a 1.82% reduction, now capped at VND21,116 per liter. Diesel prices have been adjusted to no more than VND19,349 per liter, a 1.95% decrease, while Mazut prices have been lowered by 1.82% to VND16,955 per kilogram.
