Porsche Faces a 6% Sales Decline in H1 2025 Amidst Global Market Challenges

Porsche AG announced a 6% year-on-year decrease in global sales for the first half of 2025, totaling 146,391 units. This downturn was notably influenced by a 23% sales drop in Germany and a significant 28% decline in China, despite a 10% growth in North America.

Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Performance

Electric vehicles (EVs) accounted for 23.5% of total sales, with hybrid models making up 12.6%. The Macan emerged as the best-performing model, with sales increasing by 15% annually to 45,137 units.

Executive Insight

"Despite ongoing geopolitical challenges, we've managed to maintain stable and balanced sales volumes across regions," stated Matthias Becker, Board Member for Sales and Marketing. He cautioned, however, that the market environment is expected to remain challenging.
