Global Deliveries See Significant Growth

Volkswagen AG has reported a notable increase in its global deliveries for the second quarter of 2025, with 2,271,700 vehicles delivered, marking a 1.2% rise compared to the same period in 2024. The first half of the year also saw an impressive 50% growth in deliveries year-over-year.

Regional Performance Highlights

South America emerged as a key growth driver, with deliveries soaring by 19.8% to 163,900 vehicles. However, the North American region experienced a 16.2% decline in delivery rates. Meanwhile, the Middle East witnessed significant growth in car sales.

Electric Vehicles Lead the Charge in Europe

In a remarkable achievement, Volkswagen has surpassed Tesla in electric vehicle registrations across Europe. The company reported an 89% surge in deliveries of all-electric vehicles, totaling 347,900 units in the first half of 2025.
