Electronics and Pharma Lead in PLI Incentive Disbursements

In a significant development for India's manufacturing sector, large-scale electronics and pharmaceuticals have secured approximately 70% of the total Production Linked Incentive (PLI) disbursements for the fiscal year 2024-25. The government has allocated a substantial sum of Rs 10,114 crore under the PLI schemes, with the electronics sector receiving Rs 5,732 crore and pharmaceuticals Rs 2,328 crore.
