HDFC Bank Accelerates Digital Transformation with GenAI Platform

MUMBAI: In a bold move to redefine digital banking, HDFC Bank has unveiled its centralized generative AI platform, signaling a strategic shift from experimental phases to structured, scalable deployment.

In his annual letter to shareholders, MD and CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan highlighted the launch of over 15 "lighthouse programmes." These initiatives are designed to significantly improve operations, enhance staff productivity, and elevate customer service standards.

Jagdishan also shared his optimism about the bank's progress in real-time credit decisioning, expecting substantial advancements in the current financial year.
