Tesla Inc. has officially announced the launch of its Model Y L in China this fall, marking a significant expansion of its electric vehicle lineup in the region. The announcement was made through a post on Tesla's Weibo profile, sparking excitement among electric vehicle enthusiasts.

According to CnEVPost, the specifications of the Model Y L have been disclosed by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The vehicle boasts a spacious six-seat configuration, with dimensions that surpass those of the standard Model Y. It measures 4,976 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,668 mm in height, with an impressive wheelbase of 3,040 mm.

Global Expansion Continues

Elon Musk's Tesla is not stopping at China. The company has also announced the introduction of the Model Y in India, with prices starting at 5.99 million rupees ($69,700), further cementing Tesla's global presence in the electric vehicle market.
