CavinKare's Strategic Expansion in Southern India
FMCG giant CavinKare is set to deepen its roots in the southern Indian haircare market by leveraging digital distribution channels and introducing products tailored for the younger demographic. Currently holding a 12% share in India's Rs 12,000 crore haircare segment, CavinKare is a dominant player in Andhra Pradesh but seeks to strengthen its presence in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Innovative Products Meet Traditional Wisdom
At the launch of the new Meera Rice Kanji Shampoo, Rajat Nanda, CavinKare's personal care business head, highlighted the blend of traditional Indian ingredients with modern consumer needs. "Rice Kanji, a staple in Indian beauty rituals, is now reimagined for today's Gen Z and modern women," Nanda explained.
Future Goals and Market Penetration
CavinKare aims to broaden Meera's reach across urban and rural markets, enhance its shampoo segment share, and maintain its status as one of India's fastest-growing haircare brands. The company is banking on e-commerce and quick commerce to drive sales alongside traditional distribution channels.
