Wipro's Q1 FY25 Financial Performance
IT giant Wipro has announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,336.5 crore for the June quarter (Q1 FY25), marking a 9.8% increase year-on-year. This growth comes despite the challenges posed by macroeconomic uncertainties.

Revenue and Market Response
The company's consolidated revenue from operations reached Rs 22,134.6 crore during the April–June period, showing a slight increase from the previous year. However, Wipro's shares closed 0.93% lower at Rs 260.25 on the BSE following the announcement.
Leadership Insights
Wipro MD and CEO Srini Pallia highlighted the company's focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency, which led to securing 16 large deals, including two mega deals. Pallia also emphasized the growing importance of AI in client strategies.
Outlook for Q2 FY25
Looking ahead, Wipro provided a flat sequential revenue guidance of -1% to 1% in constant currency terms for the September quarter, with IT services revenue expected to be between $2,560 million and $2,612 million.
