The Avendus Wealth–Hurun India U30 List 2025 has spotlighted 79 of India's most promising entrepreneurs under the age of 30, showcasing the next generation of business leaders across key sectors like technology, finance, retail, healthcare, and consumer goods.

Self-Made Success Stories Dominate
Out of the 79 featured, 66 are self-made, reflecting a growing culture of independent innovation and enterprise. Mumbai leads with 15 young entrepreneurs, followed by Bengaluru and Delhi, with emerging founders from smaller cities like Salem and Ranchi.

Startups, Sectors, and Scale by U30s

The average age is 28, with Zepto's co-founders, Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha, being the youngest at 22. Devika Gholap, 28, founder of OptraSCAN, is the youngest female entrepreneur, recognized for her innovation in digital pathology.

Sector-Wise Distribution
Software products and services lead with 21 entrepreneurs, followed by consumer goods and financial services. Over 60% of the businesses are service-led.

Economic Impact
These young leaders have raised $5.2 billion in equity and $270 million in debt funding, employing over 64,000 people. Svatantra Microfin, founded by Ananyashree Birla, is the largest employer with 23,289 employees.
