With over 90% of its sales generated from exports to more than 100 countries, Samsung Medison plans to boost its direct sales force in key markets like the U.S. and Europe. The company is also set to explore new territories, including Australia, Canada, and Mexico, to widen its global footprint.

AI and Next-Generation Technologies at the Forefront

Emphasizing diagnostic accuracy and user convenience, Samsung Medison is investing heavily in AI research and development. Strategic partnerships with leading medical institutions and the utilization of Samsung Electronics' overseas research centers are part of this initiative. The establishment of Innovation Labs and Next Generation Tech Labs underscores the company's commitment to innovation.

Expanding Product Portfolio and Production Capacity

Beyond its current offerings in obstetrics, gynecology, and radiology, Samsung Medison is venturing into cardiology and point-of-care fields. The company aims to enhance its AI-powered product lines for better disease diagnosis and organ analysis. A significant increase in production capacity is planned, with the Hongcheon factory's automation and smart process expansion set to double output by 2030.
