Lucid Air Owners Gain Access to Tesla Superchargers with New Adapter Starting July 31

Lucid Motors Announces Tesla Supercharger Compatibility

In a groundbreaking announcement, Lucid Group Inc.'s Lucid Motors revealed that starting July 31, Lucid Air model owners will have the ability to charge their vehicles at Tesla Inc.'s Superchargers. This innovative feature will be made possible through the use of an approved adapter, marking a significant step forward in electric vehicle charging accessibility.

Adapter Details and Pricing

The company specified that unlike the Lucid Gravity, which comes with a native NACS charge port, the Lucid Air will require a NACS adapter to connect to compatible Tesla Superchargers (V3 and above). The adapter, priced at $220 US excluding taxes, is set to revolutionize the charging experience for Lucid Air owners.

Charging Capabilities

Lucid highlighted that with this adapter, the Air can achieve charging speeds of up to 50 kW, offering up to 200 miles of range per hour of charging. Owners can easily initiate the charging process through the Tesla Superchargers option available on the Lucid App, ensuring a seamless and efficient charging experience.
