BNP Paribas Reports a 2.5% Revenue Growth to €12.58B in Q2 2025, Despite a Slight Dip in Net Income

BNP Paribas Announces Q2 2025 Financial Results

In a recent announcement, BNP Paribas revealed its second-quarter revenue for the fiscal year 2025 reached €12.58 billion, marking a 2.5% increase compared to the previous year. However, the bank experienced a 4% decline in net income attributable to equity holders, totaling €3.26 billion.

The bank's net earnings per share (EPS) also saw a decrease, dropping by 2.6% year-on-year to €5.18. On a brighter note, operating income rose by 2.7% to €4.36 billion.

CEO's Outlook and Dividend Announcement

Jean-Laurent Bonnafe, CEO of BNP Paribas, expressed satisfaction with the quarter's solid operating performance and announced an interim dividend to be paid to shareholders on September 30. Bonnafe also projected that the bank's net income in 2025 is expected to surpass €12.2 billion.
