While the S&P 500 and Nasdaq reached new highs, Asian equities faced downward pressure. Gold prices declined, and oil prices rose, reflecting the dynamic global trade environment.

Foreign portfolio investors sold shares worth Rs 6,082 crore, whereas domestic institutional investors purchased shares worth Rs 6,765 crore.
