The CEO of Panasonic Connect Co., Yasuyuki Higuchi, is set to step down from his position in March 2026, according to a report by Nikkei Asia on Wednesday.

Succession Plans Underway

The company, a key part of the Panasonic Holdings group, is expected to hold a board meeting later in the day to formalize Higuchi's resignation. Senior Executive Vice President Kenneth William Sain is anticipated to take over the helm.

Higuchi's Legacy

With a storied career that includes leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Japan and Microsoft Japan, Higuchi joined Panasonic Holdings in 2017. He notably spearheaded the company's acquisition of the U.S.-based AI firm Blue Yonhap in a landmark $6.5 billion deal.
