Ford Motor Company Initiates Recall Over Power Brake Assist Concerns

Ford Motor Company is set to recall 312,120 vehicles in the United States following a discovery of a potential issue with the power brake assist, as announced by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) this Friday.
The concern revolves around the unexpected loss of power brake assist during driving, which could increase stopping distances and, consequently, elevate the risk of accidents.
Affected models include select 2025 Lincoln Navigator, F-150, Expedition, Bronco, and Ranger vehicles. Ford plans to notify all impacted owners and has committed to providing a free update to the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module software at authorized dealerships.
