Toyota Sets Sights on Record Production

In an ambitious move, Toyota has informed its major suppliers of its plan to produce approximately 10 million vehicles worldwide in 2025. This decision comes despite the looming concerns over US tariffs, showcasing the automaker's confidence in its robust hybrid sales.

Adjusting the Initial Plan

Originally, Toyota's January plan with suppliers aimed for about 9.9 million vehicles. The adjustment to 10 million marks a significant step towards surpassing its 2023 record production of 10.03 million vehicles, which included the luxury brand Lexus.
