VinFast Marks Its Presence in India with Largest EV Showroom in Chennai

VinFast Auto India, the Vietnamese electric vehicle giant, has inaugurated its largest retail outlet in Chennai, signaling a significant step in its expansion strategy within India. This showroom, spanning 4,700 sq ft in Teynampet, is the company's second in the country and its first in Tamil Nadu, following the launch in Surat, Gujarat.

Ambitious Expansion Plans
With an ambitious goal to establish 35 showrooms across 27 Indian cities by the end of the year, VinFast is rapidly making its mark in the Indian electric vehicle market. The Chennai showroom will showcase the company's premium electric SUVs, including the VF 6 and VF 7 models, offering a glimpse into the future of eco-friendly transportation.

Strategic Partnerships and Vision

VinFast's expansion is supported by strategic partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure, aimed at developing a comprehensive nationwide network for charging infrastructure and after-sales services. Pham Sanh Chau, VinFast Asia CEO, emphasized Chennai's innovative ecosystem and skilled workforce as key factors in choosing the city for their largest Indian showroom. "Through our partnership with Maansarovar Motors, we aim to redefine the EV ownership journey," Chau stated, highlighting the company's commitment to bringing premium electric mobility solutions closer to discerning customers in Tamil Nadu and beyond.
