Oberoi Hotels Announces Expansion at 75th AGM
NEW DELHI: In a significant move to bolster its luxury hospitality portfolio, Oberoi Hotels revealed plans to open four new hotels in strategic locations including Goa, Gir, Hyderabad, and near Bengaluru. This announcement was made during the company's 75th Annual General Meeting, marking a pivotal moment in its growth strategy.
New Luxury Destinations
The expansion includes The Oberoi, Gir, a secluded 20-key luxury retreat set within a 40-acre mango orchard near Gir National Park. The Oberoi, Hyderabad, promises to offer 220 keys of unparalleled luxury. Additionally, Trident, Nandi Hills, and Trident, Fort Aguada in Goa will add 150 and 170 keys respectively, further diversifying Oberoi's prestigious portfolio.

Strategic Growth and Future Projects
These new properties are part of EIH Limited's ambitious pipeline of 25 properties, including 22 hotels and three luxury boats, slated for completion by 2030. With a mix of direct ownership, joint ventures, and management contracts, Oberoi is set to redefine luxury hospitality across 16 Indian and nine international locations, including London, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

This year, EIH Ltd is set to unveil The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho, and two Oberoi Nile Dahabeyas cruisers, following the recent opening of The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort, Bandhavgarh.
