Kasey Reigner, spokesperson for Allegheny County Emergency Services, reported that most injuries are non-life-threatening. Meanwhile, Scott Buckiso, Senior Vice President and Chief Manufacturing Officer for North American Flat-Rolled Segment at the United States Steel Corporation, praised the employees for their swift action in rescuing those involved and safely shutting down gases and utilities, stating the plant is now stable.
