Uniting for Innovation

The consortium, including giants like Australia’s BHP, Chevron, Japan’s Mitsui & Co., India’s JSW Steel, and AM/NS India, aims to identify optimal locations for collecting and processing carbon dioxide from industrial facilities, with plans for underground marine storage.

A Vision for Sustainability

Over the next 18 months, the team will explore potential hub sites in Southeast Asia and northern Australia, assessing the feasibility of this ambitious project. Hyundai Steel views this collaboration as a pivotal step in leveraging carbon reduction technologies to foster a sustainable steel industry.
