Global Fuel Market Shifts: Gasoline Prices Dip Slightly After Weeks of Steady Increases

Gasoline Prices Experience a Slight Decline

After two consecutive weeks of rising prices, the popular fuel RON95 has seen a marginal drop of 0.95%, now priced at VND19,880. This change comes as a slight relief to consumers who have been facing increasing fuel costs.

Biofuel E5 RON92 and Diesel Also See Price Adjustments

Biofuel E5 RON92 prices fell by 1.28% to VND19,350, while diesel experienced a significant plunge of 3.88% to VND18,070, marking its lowest point since June 12.

Global Influences on the Fuel Market

The recent fluctuations in fuel prices are attributed to several global factors, including the U.S. delaying higher retaliatory tariffs on China and OPEC+'s decision to increase oil production in September, as reported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Internationally, RON95 prices dropped by 1.3% to $79.1 per barrel, and diesel prices fell by 4.67% to $84.7 per barrel, reflecting the volatile nature of the global fuel market.
