Lenovo Announces Strategic Expansion into Saudi Arabia

In a significant move to bolster its presence in the Middle East, Lenovo Group Ltd. has revealed plans to establish a regional headquarters (RHQ) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This development marks a pivotal step in Lenovo's strategy to deepen its engagement with the region's rapidly growing tech market.

Strategic Investments and Leadership Appointments

The new RHQ, to be located in the prestigious Al Majdoul Tower, will serve as a hub for Lenovo's operations, including R&D, marketing, and strategic partnerships across Saudi Arabia. The tower is already a nexus for PIF entities, government bodies, and leading tech firms, positioning Lenovo at the heart of the kingdom's tech ecosystem.

Accompanying this expansion, Lenovo has appointed a seasoned executive team to lead its Saudi operations. Lawrence Yu will head the RHQ, with Giovanni Di stepping in as vice president and general manager for Lenovo Saudi Arabia, and Zoran Radumilo taking on the role of chief technology officer (CTO).
