Eurozone Trade Surplus Sees Remarkable Growth

The Eurozone's international trade surplus in goods experienced a dramatic increase to €24 billion in February, according to the latest report from Eurostat. This marks a significant rise from January's adjusted surplus of €0.8 billion and surpasses the €21.7 billion surplus recorded in February 2024.

EU Trade Performance Strengthens

Across the entire European Union, the trade surplus also showed improvement, reaching €23 billion in February, up from €21.8 billion in the same period last year.

Export and Import Figures Highlight Economic Resilience

Exports from the euro area totaled €248.7 billion in February, showcasing a 6.2% increase year-over-year. Imports to the region also grew by 5.7% compared to the previous year, amounting to €224.7 billion.
