The operator confirmed that all transmission grid substations are now fully operational, marking a swift recovery from the disruption.
Portugal's Progress in Power Restoration
In neighboring Portugal, the grid operator REN reported that power has been reinstated at 85 out of 89 substations, showcasing significant progress in overcoming the challenges posed by the blackout.
Investigation into the Cause
The blackout, attributed to grid oscillations, has been thoroughly examined, with European Commissioner for Competitiveness, Teresa Ribera, emphasizing that there is no evidence of sabotage or cyberattacks involved in the incident.
