Separation Rates and Employee Quits on the Rise

Total separations saw a minor decline to 5.1 million, with the separations rate dropping by 0.1 percentage point to 3.2%. Interestingly, the quits rate increased to 2.1%, with 3.3 million employees choosing to leave their jobs, signaling confidence in finding new opportunities.
