Yearly and Monthly Comparisons Show Mixed Results
When compared to the same period last year, the GDP saw a slight decline of 0.4%. Additionally, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2% was observed, indicating the challenges faced by Europe's largest economy.
Household Spending and Capital Formation on the Rise
The report also pointed out an increase in household final consumption expenditure and capital formation compared to the final quarter of 2024, suggesting areas of strength within the economy.
